Tuesday, April 8th, 2008The British pound sterlings saw reversal from last week’s budding trend this morning. Forex traders began Cable, GBP/USD sell-off in the Asian and Pacific market sessions of the early hours of today. The shorts remained intact through Euro and US trading Sessions all afternoon.
EUR Set To Re-Test Points This Morning
Friday, April 4th, 2008The EUR has set itself for a bullish re-test for a possible 1.5707 and 1.5780 resistance levels on the Fibonacci pivots this morning.
This chart, (click chart to enlarge) indicates a setup for north-bound re-run but at lacking the energy because people are still waiting in the wings for today’s reports. At the moment, the market continues to consolidate make higher-lows and lower-highs creating a spring effect.
USD, Dollar Gains Reprieve

At some point today it was +241 pips up. An experience that has not been for a while. It also held grounds against the EUR while the pounds, GBP vaccillated within +100 pips range.

The cross has vaccillated between 38.8 and the 50.0% pivot lines on the Fibo all morning since the 9.am spike. I was taken out from my long position by the whipsaw at 156.06 this morning with an entry of 156.46. I lost -40 pips.
