LONDON - The euro’s sudden sprung to higher heights today amid weeks of down-beat trades and the dollar recovery. Could this herald more gains against the greenback, (US currency) in the long-term?

Euro Falls Again

LONDON — The euro dollar maintained its October undertone this morning spiralling down to another six-day low. From the height of early morning trades at 1.2800, the euro fell sharply to 1.2517 dropping over 280 pips against the US dollar by mid-noon. Could this be the sign of euro giving back some of its last three years gains?

Rate Cut Today

London: Interest rates cut is expected today. There’s a general concensus that the Bank of England would do this to ease the cost of borrowing in their midday announcement. How far are they willing to go?
